Ashland University has pre-approved programs in more than 38 countries. You receive credit for courses taken abroad that advance your academic program.
Japan Exchange Program
Fall or spring semester
Spend a semester or academic year studying at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan for the same tuition cost as AU. Major, minor and core courses are pre-approved.
Performance Tours
Spring break
The AU Jazz Orchestra and AU Choir each travel to Europe every four years giving performances and seeing cultural sites.
Faculty-Led Tours
1 - 3 Weeks
Each year, Ashland University coordinates faculty-led tours to locations all over the world. You will accompany one or more faculty members as they explore a focused topic, using the destination as the classroom.
Student Teaching Abroad

The College of Education offers students the opportunity to complete their final student teaching requirement abroad. You will be assigned to a school that uses English as the language of instruction. International locations include Australia, 巴哈马群岛, 中国, Costa Rica, 厄瓜多尔, 德国, 希腊, 爱尔兰, 墨西哥, Netherlands, New Zealand, South Africa and Spain.
